Coldwell Banker Realty has welcomed Stephen Udoff, Stefanie Becker, Katie Bentzen, Elaine Hanson, Julian Alexander, Emilio Valli, Spencer Zorn and Audrey Shubin to its Malibu office as affiliate agents. All eight agents were previously affiliated with Compass.
“Throughout my career, I have leveraged the latest in digital technology to market real estate properties and always explored all possible angles of selling real estate,” said Udoff. “I decided to affiliate with Coldwell Banker because of the company’s long-standing reputation, global reach and in-house technology.”
Having acquired his first investment property at the age of 21 and being recognized as the Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate’s “Rookie of the Year” in the second year of his career, Stephen Udoff comes to the office with 10 years of real estate experience as a top producing associate. Known as Sunset Steve on social media, he has achieved social media stardom for his in-app marketing tactics and has grown a following of high-end clientele from his secret niche neighborhood market reports, which cover the real estate scene along the California coast from Malibu to Venice. Active in his community, he is the 2020 president-elect for the Malibu Association of REALTORS® as well as a member of the board of directors for TheMLS.com and the California Association of REALTORS®. Additionally, he was named 2018 Malibu REALTOR® of the Year, representing the Beverly Hills and Malibu region of Southwest Los Angeles.

She is certified by the National Association of REALTORS® to advise clients on property values and sustainability, including the cost/benefits of green building features and practices as well as listing and marketing green homes and buildings. Passionate about helping others, Becker serves on the fundraising board of the local public school and participates in several fundraisers, events and programs in the area. An authority on Malibu real estate, Katie Bentzen has been a top-producing agent throughout her 20-year career and also is the author of Buy the Beach: How to Make Millions in Malibu Real Estate. A Malibu resident for the last 35 years, she possesses a thorough knowledge of Malibu’s unique neighborhoods, schools, parks, public and private beaches.
A true native Angeleno, Elaine Hanson has been a Topanga resident since 1988. She is a graduate from Loyola Marymount University and now uses her copywriting and marketing background in media production to list and sell properties in her unique market. Since the homes in Topanga each have their own character and design, she is committed to informing her clients about Topanga and navigating them through a smooth transaction. An asset to the Topanga community, she has helped out all around the canyon from building the Community House playground to working on the Chamber of Commerce and the Malibu Association of REALTORS® boards. She currently serves on the board of the Topanga Women’s Circle non-profit, which furnishes transitional housing in Los Angeles.
Known as "Malibu Ken,” local resident Julian Alexander starred on the hit TV series “Love Connection” with award-winning host Andy Cohen. Born and raised in Alaska, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Oregon State University where he was a varsity letter winner on the Div. 1 men's rowing team. He continues to be very active and is grateful to experience everything Malibu has to offer from surfing the coastline to cycling Pacific Coast Highway and the canyons. Highly involved in the community, he was actively engaged in helping deliver supplies to the victims of the Woolsey Fire and has participated in the Malibu Sharks Football Program, beach cleanups and Homeless Connect Day.
