Cindy Farfan and Anita Spencer, affiliate agents with the Vista Village office of Coldwell Banker Realty, have collected multiple donated items for the San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter focused on inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people, and its Project Wildlife, a primary resource for conservation education and animal rehabilitation for injured, orphaned and sick wild animals.
“Similar to our shoe drive in January, we placed 175 bags on doorsteps in our local community, asking them to fill the bag with any new or gently used pet supplies for the San Diego Humane Society,” said Farfan. “We provided a list of things the organization needed along with a pickup day and time. Community members then placed the bags with donated items in front of their garage doors, and we picked up and then dropped off the donated supplies at the San Diego Humane Society.”
Passionate about helping others, Farfan and Spencer collected 30 bags of shoes with a total of 115 pairs for Soles4Souls in January of this year.
