Professional surfer and skateboarder Chance Gaul has associated with the Laguna Beach office of Coldwell Banker Realty as an affiliate agent. In response to the recent oil spill in Orange County, he has pledged to donate 5% of his commission over the next 12 months to the Pacific Marine Mammal Center. He was the world champion for downhill skateboarding.

Born and raised in Laguna Beach, Gaul was only 14 years old when he was responsible for navigating sponsorship contracts, maintaining/balancing his accounts and marketing himself to the surf and skate industries.
