The LA Clippers Foundation has donated $3,000 to Boo2Bullying, an organization that seeks to eradicate bullying, intolerance and discrimination by educating kids, schools and parents about accepting diversity and giving young people the tools to connect with and positively impact those around them.
“The LA Clippers Foundation’s donation will help Boo2Bullying better support their school suicide prevention programs,” said James Bianco, treasurer and board member of Boo2Bullying and affiliate agent with the Palm Springs office of Coldwell Banker Realty.
On Aug. 9, Boo2Bullying was featured at an activation booth in the Crypto.com Arena. Before the LA Clippers home game, board members of Boo2Bullying were assisted to the court and a video spotlighting the organization was shown on the jumbo screen. At the event, Bianco was accompanied by Dimitri Halkidis, president and founder of Boo2Bullying, Penelope Lawson, board member of Boo2Bullying, and two volunteers.
“We met over 600 fans at our booth and were able to spread awareness about Boo2Bullying and our mission,” said Halkidis. “Our hearts were full that day, sharing and speaking with youth and parents while bringing much-needed awareness. We are forever grateful to the LA Clippers and the fans for welcoming us with open arms.”
