While working in real estate part-time, she was a diagnostic radiological technician for nearly 12 years with the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System, where she received numerous recognitions for her customer service. Before working in real estate, she owned two full-service beauty salons, including one in Downtown Los Angeles for 10 years and another one in San Gabriel for two years.
