Born in Australia, Herrin moved to the United States in 1987. Before working in real estate, she worked in education and customer service. Passionate about helping others, she has been a long-time member of The Thursday Club in Point Loma and a past member of the Mothers and Daughters Club Assisting Philanthropies (MADCAPS). In 2010, she created a neighborhood Facebook group called Point Loma Connections, which has over 13,000 members and has become a great resource for neighbors and the local community. In 2021 she opened her own office in Point Loma at 1021 Rosecrans Street located in the heart of The Village in La Playa.
