Most recently, Deol has been affiliated with Coldwell Banker in South Orange County, focusing on selling real estate in the coastal markets of Southern California. He is currently president and chairman of GO Ministry International, a non-profit organization that works with widows, orphans and ministries in need, both locally and internationally.

Deol began his real estate career in the late 1970s. After several successful years in sales, he moved into the homebuilding arena where he was a vice president of sales and marketing, selling thousands of homes under his broker license. He later became a retail mortgage finance executive working with US Bank, Wells Fargo and Countrywide Home Loans. One of his most significant accomplishments was creating the National Builder Division for Countrywide Home Loans nationwide, which funded $28 billion in 2007. He has held previous positions as president of First Team Realty with nearly 2200 agents under his management team.
