William McFadden has associated with the North Scottsdale office of Coldwell Banker Realty as an affiliate agent. Most recently, he was a financial advisor with Morgan Stanley. Previously, he was a bond futures trader for The Chicago Board of Trade and worked at the interest rate trading desk for Bank of America in Chicago.
“I have always had a strong interest in real estate. I grew up on a large ranch in the North of Ireland and remember going to land auctions with my grandfather. When we sold our home in Chicago to be closer to our granddaughter, I decided to hang up my trading jacket and seize this opportunity to start a new career,” said McFadden. “I started studying when we got to Arizona and passed my real estate exams. I interviewed multiple firms, but as soon as I met Amanda Thomason, I knew I wanted to affiliate with Coldwell Banker because it is a brokerage, I would be proud to call home.”
Born and raised in Ireland, he holds a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from the University of Galway, a graduate degree in fine chemicals and pharmaceuticals from The Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology, and a graduate degree in business administration from the University of Limerick in Ireland. In Illinois, he volunteered as a commissioner on the firefighter's pension fund in Morton Grove and as the chair of the financial advisory commission for the City of Morton Grove.
