Jim and Val Dubberly, agents affiliated with the Tucson office of Coldwell Banker Realty, have collected 1,400 toys and 90 bicycles for the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program. Their family has been doing a toy drive for Toys for Tots since 2005. In the past few years, they have hosted a drive-thru/drop-off event at the Williams Centre office of Coldwell Banker Realty. This year, they hosted an Open House to kick off the holidays at their home and asked everyone to bring a toy and also partnered with six local businesses to have a collection box in their lobby.
“With some fundraising and the generosity of friends, clients and the community, we were able to collect so many toys, bikes and trikes that Toys for Toys had to come to our house with two large box trucks to transport all the donations,” said Val Dubberly. “Next year, being our 20th Anniversary, we hope to double our goals.”
