BASE Arizona has announced Vanessa Roark, an agent affiliated with the Phoenix/Paradise Valley office of Coldwell Banker Realty, as a keynote speaker for its Black History Month Vision 2025: Economic Empowerment event on Saturday, Feb. 8 from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Arizona State University’s Chandler Innovation Center. Roark will present a keynote on the “State of Black Homeownership and Opportunities in Arizona” and lead workshops on “Fix and Flip” and “Airbnb Successful Strategies.”
“I am committed to engaging my community and work to empower individuals through real estate, so in my keynote, I’ll be addressing strategies for credit building, preparing for homeownership and accessing local opportunities,” said Roark.
At the event, attendees will have a vision board experience with hands-on workshops and learn more about entrepreneurship, financial literacy and homeownership, tools and strategies, business certifications, resources and wealth-building tools, scaling a business, estate planning and financial health.
