BASE Arizona has announced Vanessa Roark, an agent affiliated with the Phoenix/Paradise Valley office of Coldwell Banker Realty, as a keynote speaker for its Black History Month Vision 2025: Economic Empowerment event on Saturday, Feb. 8 from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Arizona State University’s Chandler Innovation Center. Roark will present a keynote on the “State of Black Homeownership and Opportunities in Arizona” and lead workshops on “Fix and Flip” and “Airbnb Successful Strategies.”

At the event, attendees will have a vision board experience with hands-on workshops and learn more about entrepreneurship, financial literacy and homeownership, tools and strategies, business certifications, resources and wealth-building tools, scaling a business, estate planning and financial health.
