Model Sanne Vloet and Max Ando’s redesigned Marina del Rey loft has been listed for $2,300,000 by Daniel Moss, an agent affiliated with the Malibu office of Coldwell Banker Realty. Designed in collaboration with Lauren Piscione of LP Creative, the space was brought to life with a vision that merges functionality with aesthetic minimalism. Inspired by the clean lines and warmth of Japanese and Scandinavian design, the renovation focused on simplicity and functionality Located at 4215 Glance Ave #405 in Marina del Rey, Calif., the approximately 1,730-square-foot unit has two bedrooms and two bathrooms.
“After seven years in New York, working in fashion and immersing themselves in the city's fast-paced energy, Sanne and Max traded the NYC skyline for the warmth and slower rhythm of the West Coast,” said Moss. “In late 2019, they came across a newly listed loft in Marina del Rey. Having always envisioned renovating a space that seamlessly blended work and home life, they committed to transforming the loft into their first home together.”
Drawing from her time training in a Michelin-starred kitchen in Italy, Vloet had a clear vision for her dream studio kitchen — complete with high storage accessible by a custom ladder and appliances fit for a professional chef. The loft’s transformation was brought to life with the help of Kamp Studios, which applied plaster finishes throughout the interior, including a custom treatment for the cabinetry. Cooper Reynolds crafted the wood and brass elements, including the kitchen island, custom ladder and elegant sconces. Adding a personal touch, Vloet designed a bespoke bouclé couch, named "Freya," now part of Nathan Anthony’s collection.
During the pandemic, the couple launched Nekohama, a wellness brand introducing the first non-bitter organic matcha sourced from Japan. Their home was an extension of the brand—a backdrop for photo shoots, space for tea tastings and creative hub for their growing community in Los Angeles. This also became Vloet’s haven where she delved deeper into wellness and started sharing her at-home recipes in her dream kitchen, which eventually led her to create her wellness brand Soul Sync Body, a wellness program to live a healthy, happy lifestyle.
Storage was a key consideration, given the loft’s original open layout. By incorporating oak wood closets and a high-kitchen design, the space became both aesthetically refined and highly functional—offering ample room to store studio equipment and ceramics. Today, the loft serves as a dynamic, multi-purpose environment.
“Creativity thrives in this space,” said Moss. “Whether it’s filming content, cooking, hosting friends or simply finding inspiration in its minimalistic design, the space embodies a perfect balance of work and home life.”
