Laura Moore, an affiliate agent with the Biltmore-Paradise Valley office of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, partnered with LA Fitness in North Phoenix and her neighbors and hosted successful food drives, collecting 800 lbs. of nonperishable food for St. Mary's Food Bank, a community-based organization helping feed hungry individuals and families.
“The residents of Moon Valley are a gracious and giving group of people who really came through with donations,” said Moore. “My neighbors happily gave to a good cause, and Chris Hamby at LA Fitness was passionate about giving back to the community and spreading good.”
Moore’s neighbors—the Minors, Workmans and Sanfords—and Moore herself collected 100 lbs. of canned food items at their annual progressive dinner Christmas parties. Because most attendees bring a hostess gift, they asked attendees to bring canned goods. LA Fitness collected an estimated 700 lbs. of nonperishable food.
