Susan Dempster, an affiliate agent with the North Scottsdale and Fountain Hills offices of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, has received the Outstanding Volunteer Award from the Development Services Department of Fountain Hills, Ariz.

Originally from New Jersey, she has lived in Fountain Hills, Ariz. for more than 13 years. Active in her community, Dempster is a planning and zoning commissioner and current chair for the Town of Fountain Hills, president for the Neighborhood Property Owners Association and a board member for the Fountain Hills Community Garden. She also fosters dogs for Rescue Pals.
