Margaret Pollack, an affiliate agent with the Westlake Village Regional office of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, and her husband Dr. Pollack, have returned from a medical trip from April 24 to May 2 with Health-E-Charity, providing medical services to internally displaced persons in two refugee camps in Dohuk, Iraq.
“We were able to provide basic medical care to people that were forced to flee from their homes because ISIS was about to or did take over their villages,” said Margaret Pollack. “There were approximately 17,000 people in each camp, so we were happy to make a small positive difference for them.”
