Chip McAllister, an affiliate agent with the Laguna Niguel office of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, has announced that he is running for the board of directors of the Orange County Association of REALTORS® (OCAR).
“I believe in local REALTOR® control and also maintaining property rights,” said McAllister. “My main goal is to help Orange County REALTORS® maintain their status as a beacon on the hill known for the excellent way we handle transactions and receptiveness. I want to keep and maintain the integrity we already have.”
McAllister co-leads the McAllister Real Estate Group with his wife, Kim McAllister. Both Chip and Kim McAllister became household names after winning CBS’s the Amazing Race in season five. Active in their communities, they are both members of OCAR, the California Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®.
Voting is currently open, and OCAR members can cast their vote by visiting www.ocar.org/vote. Voting will close on Tuesday, May 21 at 5 p.m.
