Alexander Ciullo with the Pete Knows Real Estate - Middleton Team, a team of affiliate agents with the La Jolla office of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, will be competing in a Battle of the Bands fundraiser for Angel Wings International from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Thursday, July 25 at Belly Up Tavern, which is located at 143 South Cedros Ave. in Solana Beach, Calif.
“I am excited to be performing and reprising my role as lead guitarist with my high school band, Exposed, at this great charity event,” said Ciullo. “I am honored to represent Coldwell Banker and use my musical talent to help raise funds for Angel Wings International, which built a medical clinic after the devastation caused by the 2010 earthquake in Haiti.”
Tim Yates and Eric Gillman are presenting the Battle of the Bands event for the second consecutive year. At the event, six bands representing Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Compass, eXp, Keller Williams and others will battle against each other and against the 2018 Battle of the Bands winners, Full Moon Light, for the title of 2019 Battle of the Band Champions. The Battle of the Bands is the next event in the "The Ride for Hope 2020" series.
Ciullo will be joined by Ken Rapp on vocals, Casady Maxwell on second guitar, Khrys Maxwell on bass and Ryan Lawrence on drums. A gifted musician, Ciullo began playing the saxophone at age 10, picked up the guitar at age 16 and placed first in the Guitar Center's 2003 Guitarmageddon competition in San Diego. After catching the attention of vocalist Parramore McCarty, he relocated to Los Angeles after earning his bachelor’s degree in business administration marketing from San Diego State University, where he also studied music. Throughout his musical career, he has played with notable artists and toured consistently in the U.S., Mexico, Europe and Japan since 2008.
