The Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA) has named Elena Yu, an affiliate agent with the Caramel Valley office of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, to its prestigious A-List for 2019, placing her among the top-producing AREAA members who are dedicated to representing the interests of the Asian American real estate market.
Yu ranked No. 44 on AREAA’s A-List of the Top 50 individual real estate agents based on 2018 transaction sides. A-Listers will receive special recognition at the AREAA National Convention on Oct. 17 to 19 at the Boston Marriott Copley.
The AREAA A-List honors the Top 50 individual real estate agents, the Top 10 real estate teams and the Top 20 mortgage originators in the categories of sales volume and transaction sides. With a multi-disciplinary education, she holds a bachelor’s degree in economics with summa cum laude honors, a Ph.D. in sociology and a master of public health in epidemiology. Joining only 3% of professionals in her field, she became a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and a Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS), which only 2,500 professionals in her field worldwide have earned. Her other real estate designations include Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI), Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR®), Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE), Common-Interest Development (CID), Seller Representative Specialist (SRS), Seniors Real Estate Specialist® (SRES®), VApro, Military Relocation Professional (MRP) and Broker Price Opinion Resource (BPOR).
