“This is a MeetUp to inform baby boomers and those on retirement plans how to downsize and take advantage of programs like Reverse Mortgage, Prop. 60/90 and 1031 Exchange,” said Agbayani. “I will talk about how to retire in place or to other countries for less, showcasing some retirement destinations using their present assets. “During the financial downturn in 2008, I decided to go back to my homeland, the Philippines,” said Agbayani. “While there, I got the first-hand experience of what it was like going back and forth between the Philippines and the U.S. and met many retirees who were living this lifestyle. This experience gave me an understanding of how to retire in style for less than $2,000 month and from there my ‘Retire in Style’ workshop was born.”
