COLDWELL BANKER EXECUTIVES RAISED $38,164 FOR HOMELESS YOUTH BY SLEEPING ON THE STREET

In honor of National Homeless Youth Awareness Month, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage executives slept on the street for one night and raised $38,164 during the Covenant House Sleep Out to Support Homeless Youth event on Nov. 21. The Sleep Out event aimed to increase awareness of the more than 4.2 million young people who experience a form of homelessness in a year across the U.S. and raise funds for Covenant House California (CHC), a non-profit youth homeless shelter that provides sanctuary and support for homeless and trafficked youth, ages 18 to 24.

“Because Coldwell Banker is all about finding homes for clients, we slept on a Los Angeles street to help raise funds so that the more than 6,000 homeless youth in Los Angeles can have a home,” said Jamie Duran, president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Southern California. “Youth homelessness is an epidemic in Los Angeles and Coldwell Banker wants to make a difference.”

Christophe Choo, a Coldwell Banker Global Luxury Property Specialist affiliated with the Beverly Hills North office of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, has participated in the Sleep Out event for several years and assembled the team of participants that included Jamie Duran, president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Southern California, Brad Pearson, regional vice president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s Orange County, Riverside County and San Diego County regions, Tom Dunlap, branch manager for the Beverly Hills offices of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Randy Bragdon, field marketing director for the Southwest region of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Melissa Ryan, a Coldwell Banker Global Luxury Property Specialist affiliated with the Brentwood office of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, John D.
