Shiraz-Ali Peera, an affiliate agent with the Tucson/Foothills office Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, has been presented with the REALTOR® Emeritus Award for 40 years of service by National Association Of REALTORS®.
“Born in Kenya and raised in Tanzania, East Africa, I was educated in England and the U.S. before embarking on my 40-year career in real estate,” said Peera. “My extensive travels in Africa, Middle East, far east and Europe have enhanced my natural ability to work perceptively with people of diverse backgrounds throughout my career.”
In addition to being a Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS), Peera also holds Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) and Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designations. Active in his community, he is a member of the Tucson Association of REALTORS®, the Arizona Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS® as well as the co-president of ThunderBird Graduate School of Management Alumni Association. Throughout his career, he has also served as president-elect and special projects chair for the Civitan International Club, member of the Tucson Mayor’s Community Development Advisory Committee, president of the Filipino-American Sampaguita Club, vice president and board director for the Pan Asian Community Alliance, president of the Cultural Exchange Council and Tucson Meet Yourself as well as board director for the Asian-American Faculty, Staff & Alumni Association.
