She holds a bachelor’s degree in landscape ecology from the University of Arizona and has co-authored and published Spatial Patterns of Post-Fire Crown Damage in Relation to Fire Growth in a Rocky Mountain Spruce-fir Forest and was professionally published in Connecting Mountain Islands and Desert Seas: Biodiversity and Management of the Madrean Archipelago II. Passionate about preserving hiking and mountain bike trails, she volunteers with natural resource agencies and organizations to repair, maintain and construct trails.
