The Manhattan Beach office of Coldwell Banker Realty collected more than 100 pairs of new and gently used shoes for Soles4Souls, a non-profit that creates sustainable jobs and provides relief through the distribution of shoes and clothing around the world.
“The shoes will be split up based on condition and type and sent to the micro-enterprise partner that needs them the most, which could be in Haiti, Eastern Europe or anywhere in between,” said Shyrl Lorino, branch manager of the Manhattan Beach office of Coldwell Banker Realty. “Soles4Souls has direct micro-enterprise programs in Haiti, Sierra Leone, Honduras and Moldova, and they also work with other partners who have these programs around the world. So our impact will be felt across the world.”
From Jan. 14 to Jan. 31, donations of new and gently used shoes were collected at 31 Coldwell Banker Realty offices in Los Angeles County. To learn more and find the other participating offices, click here.
