Before that, she was a first-grade teacher at an elementary school for five years. She holds a certificate in interior design and home staging from the Interior Designers Institute in Newport Beach as well as a bachelor’s degree in liberal studies and a California State multiple-subject teaching credential from California State University, Long Beach.
