The Pasadena and La Cañada Flintridge offices of Coldwell Banker Realty will be hosting its 21st Annual First-Responders BBQ on Wednesday, Nov. 2 from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. A celebration of local frontline and support staff personnel, the event will be held at La Casita del Arroyo, located at 177 S. Arroyo Boulevard in Pasadena, Calif.
“The BBQ is a wonderful way for us to show our support and appreciation for all the amazing people who stand on the front lines and are out there daily assisting individuals and protecting our community,” said Lori Ramirez, branch manager of the Pasadena and La Cañada Flintridge offices of Coldwell Banker Realty. “We enjoy providing a setting where members of the various municipal departments can relax and visit with each other over a good meal.”
Originally organized by veteran Pasadena-based REALTOR®, Rosey Bell, to honor the heroes of September 11, the Annual First-Responders BBQ celebrates local first-responders for their tireless work and sometimes thankless efforts and has remained a highly-anticipated and well-attended event with more than 300 Fire, Police and EMT personnel passing through/enjoying a hearty homecooked meal throughout the day. Every year, agents affiliated with the Pasadena office of Coldwell Banker Realty band together to donate money, prepare food and volunteer their time to make the event possible.
At last year’s event, both the Pasadena Police and Fire Departments expressed their heartfelt thanks by presenting founding agent, Rosey Bell, with Certificates of Recognition for her tireless and more than 20-year commitment to making this thoughtful, worthwhile event happen.
