The Pasadena and La Cañada Flintridge offices of Coldwell Banker Realty hosted its 22nd Annual First-Responders BBQ, serving over 450 people. A celebration of local frontline and support staff personnel, the event was held at La Casita del Arroyo.
“We love hosting this BBQ as a way to show our support and appreciation for all the amazing people who stand on the front lines and are out there daily assisting individuals and protecting our community,” said Lori Ramirez, regional manager of the Pasadena, La Cañada Flintridge, San Marino and Glendale offices of Coldwell Banker Realty. “Every year, we aim to provide a setting where members of the various municipal departments can relax and visit with each other over a good meal.”
Originally organized by veteran Pasadena-based REALTOR®, Rosey Bell, to honor the heroes of September 11, the Annual First-Responders BBQ celebrates local first-responders for their tireless work and sometimes thankless efforts and has remained a highly-anticipated and well-attended event with Fire, Police and EMT personnel pass through and enjoy a hearty homecooked meal throughout the day. Every year, agents affiliated with the Pasadena and La Cañada Flintridge offices of Coldwell Banker Realty band together to donate money, prepare food and volunteer their time to make the event possible. In addition to shopping for it all, Bell helped prep 100 lbs. of tri-tip, 100 lbs. of chicken, hot links and BBQ sauce with the help of Coldwell Banker agents and staff.
