Coldwell Banker Realty is welcoming top-producing agents Hannah Babitt, Katy Johnson, Mary Swanson, Myles Lewis and Severin Braham to its Beverly Hills office as real estate agents. Combined, the agents have nearly $95,000,000 in last 12 months sales volume.
“The addition of these talented, seasoned agents strengthens our rich, collaborative culture and infuses fresh energy, new ideas and insight into the office,” said Matthew Clayman, branch manager of the Beverly Hills office of Coldwell Banker Realty. “This partnership further deepens our roots in the market and signals the next chapter of our leadership and momentum.”
Hannah Babitt is a music executive and boutique real estate advisor, specializing in high-discretion transactions for artists, songwriters, producers and entertainment executives in Los Angeles and Nashville. As the founder and CEO of BABZ, a music management company that represents award-winning songwriters, producers, and social media influencers, she brings 15 years of deal-making expertise, confidentiality and strategy to each client she represents. She started working in real estate while a sophomore at New York University (NYU). She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in recorded music with a minor in anthropology from the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at NYU. Her real estate practice is referral-only and built for clients who value trust, privacy and a broker who already understands the pace and pressure of their industry. Passionate about music, she has served as co-chair of the songwriting committee for She Is The Music and has worked closely with Music Health Alliance and Beagle Freedom Project. In addition, she belongs to professional real estate associations as a licensed realtor across California and Tennessee, and formerly New York City.
“I joined Coldwell Banker because of Matthew Clayman, since he and I worked together in the music industry years ago, long before he became a major force in the real estate world. He has remained one of the most trusted people in my circle. I trust Matthew’s leadership, his integrity and his vision implicitly,” said Babitt. “For me, aligning with Coldwell Banker was about aligning with Matthew’s leadership and the culture he has built. We work exceptionally well together, and we’ve already begun generating new business as a team, which makes the work both productive and genuinely enjoyable.” On her strategy as an agent, Babitt puts it simply: “If you want an agent who needs the spotlight, that isn’t me. If you want someone who protects your real estate deal like its intellectual property, that’s exactly what I do.”
A Midwest girl who found herself in the fast-paced world of Los Angeles, Katy Johnson has been a licensed real estate agent since 2023 and previously worked with The Oppenheim Group for two years before joining Coldwell Banker Realty in Beverly Hills. She has a background in fitness, dance and a degree in criminal justice. During a college spring break trip to Los Angeles, an unexpected encounter with a photographer led her into the crazy world of modeling. She has appeared on the covers of magazines like Maxim, MAX and FHM and had features in Glamour, GQ, Men’s Health, People, Sports Illustrated and more. She also runs a travel blog, I Am Katy Johnson, sharing her experience working in places such as China, Mexico, France, Armenia, Indonesia, Scotland, London, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. In 2018, she launched One Model Mission, a nonprofit global storytelling project focused on sharing the voices of women from around the world, their challenges, cultures and hopes for the future. As part of the One Model Mission, she oversees Be a Model Citizen, an outreach branch where models come together to give back through initiatives like Earth Day cleanups and community projects. Intent on being involved in any causes that help ease the suffering of women and those in need, she supports annual toy drives, animal charities and breast cancer organizations.
“I was drawn to Coldwell Banker because to me, it’s such an iconic brand with an incredible legacy in California real estate. It has this timeless, elegant reputation that instantly inspires trust, and I love that it’s one of the first brokerages in the state. The history and reputation alone speak volumes,” said Johnson. “The Beverly Hills office especially has such an amazing energy, representing some of the most beautiful properties and working with an incredible level of clientele. I also wanted to be part of a company where I can really grow and collaborate with strong, inspiring women who are thriving in their careers, and Coldwell Banker felt like the perfect fit for that.”
With nearly two decades of real estate experience here in Los Angeles, Mary Swanson was recently an agent with Hilton Hilton, a newer boutique brokerage. She attributes a lot of her industry experience to the early years of her career, when she worked as an assistant to Jade Mills, Beverly Hills’ leading real estate professional and Coldwell Banker Realty’s No. 1 California agent. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida.
“I began my real estate career at Coldwell Banker Beverly Hills, so returning here truly feels like coming full circle,” said Swanson. “I have always admired Coldwell Banker’s strong brand, global reach and dedication to supporting its agents. It is exciting to be back with a company renowned for its genuine, client-focused approach, which is a philosophy with which I deeply align, and its unwavering commitment to excellence.”
Licensed in California since 2017 and Texas since 2023, Myles Lewis was recently an agent with Compass. He is ranked in the 1.5% in the nation for production, was named one of America’s Best Real Estate Professionals by Real Trends, was named a 2024 Real Estate All Star by Los Angeles Magazine and is a certified Luxury Marketing Specialist by the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing. Before working in real estate, he had a career in the music industry where he was a senior executive at American Idol, BMI and Epic Records. He holds a bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University.
“Coldwell Banker offers excellent brand awareness in a market where brokerages are becoming more and more indistinguishable, and Matthew does a great job with the Beverly Hills office,” said Lewis.
A real estate agent since 2020, Severin Braham was most recently the director of operations for the Williams and Williams Estates Group at The Beverly Hills Estates. He holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
“We’re thrilled to welcome these phenomenal agents to our office. They’re not only exceptionally skilled professionals. They’re outstanding people who further enrich our collaborative culture,” said Kara Karns-Domic, regional vice president of Coldwell Banker Realty Greater Los Angeles. “Together, we’re deepening our roots in the market and igniting the next chapter of our leadership and momentum.”
