Eileen Harris, an affiliate agent with the North Scottsdale office of Coldwell Banker Realty, raised $550 for Hospice of the Valley, a not-for-profit community-based hospice that strives to serve the diverse needs of families with a wide variety of comprehensive programs, by making masks for a donation
“When I was caring for my 101-year-old cousin, Hospice of the Valley was there for me to aid in her care at no charge. Making the masks and collecting the donations was my way of giving back to them for their kind and caring attention to her,” said Harris. “I made the 21 masks with fabrics that I had from years of sewing projects. Donors chose their patterns and colors, and I collected whatever donation they cared to give. Additional donations were given by Coldwell Banker affiliate agents from my office and some of my neighbors and friends.”
Hospice of the Valley provides an individualized program of physical, emotional, spiritual and practical care for people in the last phases of a life-limiting illness. To learn more, visit hov.org.
